Northern Canadian Supplies Ltd. Is owned by shareholders living in the Municipality of Wood Buffalo in Northern Alberta. All company shares are owned by First Nation members.
Having started by producing her own traditional and natural products in 2003, Marlene Luck began sourcing the best environmental and natural products available.
In 2005, planning began to incorporate a company that would supply cleaning products that were safe, effective and environmentally friendly. Marlene was motivated to see industry within Wood Buffalo make purchasing changes and adopt “Green” products.
Company growth continued and product offerings expanded to include safety and PPE supplies. The corporate name changed from “Northern Cleaning” to “Northern Canadian Supplies Ltd.” to better reflect that NCSL offers a great deal more than cleaning supplies. In fact, Safety & PPE sales now comprise 75% of our sales.
Today, NCSL is expanding its business. Strategic partnerships will see tremendous sales growth in 2012. We now distribute products for more than sixty manufacturing partners and have access to more than 800 000 products.
In March 2011, we opened our third sales location in Vancouver, B.C. We are focused on helping individuals and corporations make a difference by choosing products that are safe, effective, and that lessen our environmental footprint.
